Is OALO compliant with EASA and UK CAA requirements?

Yes. OALO is fully compliant with EASA Part-FCL (FCL.050) and UK CAA logbook requirements. Our PDF export includes all required columns and formats specified by the regulations.

Is my data safe and private?

Absolutely. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. We are GDPR compliant and never share your personal information with third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Can my airline see my logbook?

No. OALO is a personal logbook tool. We never share any data with airlines, and we do not access or store any airline operational data. Your logbook is completely separate from company systems.

Features

How does email import work?

Simply forward your Verified Flights emails to your unique OALO import address, or paste them directly into the import page. We automatically parse the flight details and add them to your logbook for review.

How is night time calculated?

Night time is calculated automatically using the departure and arrival airport coordinates along with official civil twilight definitions. This ensures accurate night flying time without manual calculation.

Can I get my PICUS flights countersigned?

Yes. You can request countersignatures from supervising PICs via OALO (if they're also users), or share a link via WhatsApp, email, or any other platform. PICs can sign digitally.

How do I get access to OALO?

We're launching in phases to ensure the best experience. Join the waitlist and we'll notify you when it's your turn. During Phase 2, you can also get invited by a current user.

What do beta testers get?

Beta testers help shape OALO with their feedback and in return receive free Pro access for life. Your data is backed up regularly and always accessible.

Is there a cost to use OALO?

OALO works for pilots by partnering with trusted companies to bring you exclusive deals on things pilots need - loss of licence insurance, equipment, travel perks, and more. We're building a community, not just a logbook.

Data & Export

Can I export my logbook?

Yes. You can export your logbook in multiple formats: EASA FCL.050 compliant PDF, CSV for spreadsheets, and plain text. Pro users also get access to advanced export options.

Can I import my existing logbook?

Yes. You can import flights via email forwarding, copy-paste from spreadsheets, or manual entry. We're continuously adding more import options.
